QUEENS (PIX11) — After 28 robberies by the same armed thieves, one Queens gas station and car wash owner isn’t taking any chances.

This gas station has cameras in every corner of the store, 36 in total. The cash register is protected by bulletproof glass.

The Queens gas station has never been robbed, and hopes that nothing will happen in the future.

The Manhattan location was not so lucky — they said it had been hit twice.

The owner said the robbers held the run against his side and demanded the money.

The thieves took $766 the first time and $422 the second.

Police are requesting the public’s help in finding the men. Anyone with information is urged to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-588-TIPS. All calls are confidential. Tips can also be submitted on the Crime Stoppers website at http://www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
