Police search for duo behind 28 armed robberies across city

(PIX11) – The NYPD is on the hunt for a duo behind 28 robberies across the city.

According to police, the men have targeted delis, newsstands, gas stations and convenience stores. The armed robberies began in February and have continued into August.

The men, armed with a gun, enter the store and demand money. They leave without harming anyone.

Police described the men as around six feet tall. Suspect number one weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. The second man is between 180 and 190 pounds and has a tattoo on his left forearm.

Surveillance cameras captured pictures of both men at various locations. Cops said they drove a dark colored minivan with front end passenger side damage. There are different wheel rims on the front and back passenger side wheels.
