Christine Quinn open to allowing middle school girls to receive morning-after pill

(PIX11) – Christine Quinn said she’s open to allowing middle school girls as young as 11-years-old to receive the morning-after contraceptive pill.

The City Council Speaker and mayoral hopeful said she understands it can make some people uncomfortable, but we “need recognize the reality of what’s happening in children’s lives.”

Quinn made the comments after receiving a mayoral endorsement from the Planned Parenthood of New York City political committee.
