(PIX11) – It’s an expensive flip involving Bernie Madoff — sort of.

Pokemon toy mogul Alfred Khan and his wife Nancy are trying to flip disgraced Ponzi scheme king Bernie Madoff’s New York penthouse for $17 million.

They paid $8 million for the East 64th street duplex when the government put it up for sale in 2010, to compensate Madoff’s fraud victims.

Madoff lived there until 2009, when he was sentenced to 150 years in prison.

The listing is being handled by super real estate agent Dolly Lenz.
