Weiner makes fun British reporter

While campaigning in Harlem, Anthony Weiner was asked questions by a reporter for ITV whose British accent was just too much for him to handle politely.

Clearly nonplussed by her questions to begin with, Weiner constantly turns away from reporter Lucy Watson to speak with passersby and his campaign staff.

“Hard to take you seriously,” he says after she asks him about his “hunger for the big job,” which he repeats (laughing) in a terrible accent.  “I just have the feeling I’ve like, stepped into a Monty Python bit,” Weiner says.  “‘I don’t know would anything stop me?’ Now is a rock going to fall on my head?”

He wraps up the cringe-worthy interview by forecasting the weather in England (it’s cloudy and gray).

Incredibly, England wasn’t the only European country to be singled out by Weiner, who clearly didn’t care about the cameras surrounding him.  While going door to door, Weiner bizarrely targeted a reporter for the German Der Spiegel, asking, “You have like, plumbing and stuff like that?”  He then deadpans for the media, “Weiner insults Germans, standby.”

Are we watching the meltdown of Anthony Weiner?
