A new report shows metro card fares could rise 50% in the next decade.

The MTA raised subway and bus fares 8.4% in 2011 and this year.

In 2023, a weekly metro card – which now costs $30 — could cost $45.

The report says the monthly card could reach $170 if the trend continues. Right now, a monthly unlimited is $112.
