Revel Casino to shut down poker room

Revel casino in Atlantic City will be closing its poker room in August.

A spokesman says it’s a move they hope will help bolster the struggling casino’s bottom line.

After filing bankruptcy,  Revel has tried several ideas to lure gamblers to the casino including offering returns on slot losses.

The casino says it may offer poker again in the future.
