FLATIRON DISTRICT (PIX11) – A van delivering meat in Manhattan went up in flames Wednesday, and the driver barely escaped, according to reports.

60-year-old Moises Huggins had been dropping off orders at restaurants in the Flatiron District when his white Chevy van began smoking.  He pulled over along Madison Square Park where Broadway and Fifth Ave. meet, and hopped out of the car.

“It was very scary,” Huggins told NBC New York.  “It was like a terrorist bomb or something went off, the way it was burning.”
