(PIX11) – In a matter of days, Anthony Wiener has fallen from front runner of the New York City mayoral race to fourth.

But despite sliding poll numbers and calls for him to drop out of the race, Anthony Weiner continues to say he’s not leaving.

In his latest attempt to quiet critics, Anthony Weiner released a new campaign video responding to the calls for him to step aside by focusing on voters.

With six weeks until the primaries, voters’ opinions are shifting.

In the latest Quinnipiac university poll, just 16% of likely democratic voters said they would vote for Weiner.

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn now leads the race.

She says it’s not her place to tell an opponent to drop out.

But she’s not rallying for his second chance.

In the meantime, the woman involved in the latest sexting scandal, Sydney Leathers, went to Howard Stern to tell her side of the story.

leathersweinersLeathers also says their sexting relationship also included a number of phone calls.

The Quinnipiac poll indicates that 30% of likely democrat voters would support Christine Quinn if Anthony Weiner left the race.
