WEST NEW YORK (PIX11) – A baby died Tuesday after a bus driver lost control and slammed into a lamppost on Boulevard East near 56th St., toppling the post onto a stroller.

Witnesses said the bus had stopped to pick up passengers, when the wheels began to spin wildly, sending the bus into a tree and two lampposts before slamming into a parked car, sending that car crashing into three others.
