LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK (PIX11)– A Long Island couple was arrested on Wednesday evening by federal agents and the NYPD, for allegedly running a high-end prostitution ring that served clients from all over the world.

According to police, Vincent and Melissa Lombardo ran an online prostitution site called “Aphrodite”  and managed it right out their home in Massapequa.

The way the website worked was prostitutes advertised their services on the site and then gave the Lombardo’s a 30 to 40 percent cut.

The Lombardo’s allegedly charged up to $3,000 a day for women who traveled the country as well as those who worked with johns from the UK and Russia.

The feds say the couple made millions.

Vincent Lombardo was previously in jail for drugs and weapons.
