Mount Sinai and Continuum Health approved to merge

Mount Sinai Medical Center and Continuum Health Partners have approved a merger.

That will create one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the United States.

Once final regulatory approval is granted, the Mount Sinai health system will combine Mount Sinai with Continuum’s community-oriented hospitals, which includes Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
