New York Presbyterian ranked among nation’s top hospitals

(PIX 11) — U.S. News and World Report has published its list of top hospitals and New York Presbyterian is recognized once again.

The hospital came in overall at No. 7 nationwide, appearing on the magazine’s honor roll.

The report also breaks down rankings into categories; New York Presbyterian took the No. 3 spot for Cardiology & Heart Surgery, as well as Neurology & Neurosurgery and Nephrology (kidney care). It also took a No. 4 ranking in Psychiatry and No. 5 in Urology.

NYU Langone Medical Center ranked second in the city. Saint Barnabus Hospital in the Bronx soared from 44th to 12th in NYC, marking the biggest gain on the list.
