A former Miss USA contestant has been ordered to pay Donald Trump $5 million for calling the pageant rigged.

A Manhattan federal judge ordered former Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin to pay up for making the so-called unfounded claims.

Monnin had accused pageant organizers of determining ahead of time who the final 16 contestants and top five finishers would be.

The pageant filed the suit after she went public with her allegations.

How much money Mr Trump has is irrelevant. She made a statement that was held by the court to be without merit, therefore she has to pay. If you want to make an argument that the damage award was excessive, fine, but using the argument that he doesn't need it would only get you laughed out of court!
