An annual tradition took place on Staten Island Thursday.

It was the 103rd annual Travois Fourth of July Parade.

Several mayoral candidates were on hand, along with current mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The festivities began with a ceremony at noon on Victory Boulevard.

The grand marshal of the parade led the Pledge of Allegiance and St. Anthony’s folk group performed the Star Spangled Banner.
