Over 1000 votes from Brooklyn finally counted — 6 MONTHS after presidential election

Nearly six months after President Obama began his second term,  the votes of 1,600 people in Brooklyn have finally been counted.

In April, the board discovered a mismatch between the number of Brooklyn voters who signed in at the polls and the number of votes that were counted.

The problem was linked to scanners at two polling sites.

In March, workers in the agency’s Manhattan office found more than 400 ballots cast in November were never counted.
