MANHATTAN (PIX11) – A Manhattan judge has thrown out three of the sex suits against long-time Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash.

The men claimed Clash manipulated them into have sex with him when they were teenagers, but the judge ruled the cases exceeded the six-year statue of limitations.

They told the judge they didn’t file a suit until recently, because they were not aware of the emotional effects the relationship had on them until years later.

The judge didn’t buy it and the cases were dismissed.

Klash, 52, worked as a puppeteer on the hit children’s show ‘Sesame Street’ until he retired in November amid allegations of sex abuse.
