Nineteen of Arizona’s bravest were killed while trying to put out a massive wildfire just north of Phoenix. The firefighters were killed on Sunday while battling the fire in Yarnell Hill.

While the community is heartbroken and mourning the fallen heroes, officials say they must stay strong because the fire is still a large threat to the area. So far more than 8,000 acres of land have been completely charred.
