MILLBURN, New Jersey (PIX11) — A manhunt is underway in New Jersey for a callous man who brutally attacked a woman during a disturbing home invasion.

According to authorities, the violent episode unraveled inside a home in Millburn on June 21 at about 10:30 a.m. where the suspect burst into the home and attacked the victim while her 3-year-old daughter sat a couch.

The brutal attack was captured on surveillance by a nanny cam in the living room, cops said.

The suspect is seen forcing his way inside the home where he repeatedly punched and kicked the woman. At one point, he even puts her in a choke hold before throwing her down the stairs.

Cops say the 3-year-old was left unharmed, while the woman suffered multiple injuries to her face and legs.

The suspect – who is described as a black male who stands approximately 5-foot-11 and weighs about 210 pounds with a light salt and pepper beard – managed to flee with an undetermined amount of jewelry.
