developingA man was shot multiple times by Nassau County cops after allegedly pulling a gun on a homeowner and responding police officers.

Police say they received a 9-1-1 call from a man at Netz Place in Albertson just after 10 a.m. saying a man pulled a gun on him outside his home.

Responding officers stopped the suspect who then pointed the gun towards them.

The officers shot the suspect three times.

The man was taken to Winthrop-University Medical Center, where he is being treated for gunshot wounds to his leg, thigh and hand.

Area schools are currently on lock down.
