New York Yankee legend Joe Torre’s daughter made a catch her father would be proud of Wednesday morning, when she saw a baby hanging from the awning of a Brooklyn store.

Dillin Miller, 1, had crawled onto the fire escape through a piece of cardboard that was placed next to the air conditioning in the apartment belonging to his parents, Sam Miller, 23, and Tiffany Demetria, 24.

Christina Torre, who had been passing the apartment building at the same time, saw the baby falling from the awning, ran over, and caught the child in her arms.

Dillin, who was in stable condition, was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and suffered from injuries on his face.

Police say the two adults were charged with endangerment and neglect of the welfare of a child.

Dillin and his three siblings, ages 2, 3 and 5, were taken into custody by the Administration for Children’s Services.
