It could be nasty commute tonight.

The heaviest rain has tapered off and will be light to moderate for the rest of the evening throughout the tri-state area.

Although the rain has slowed down, there are still flash flood warnings and advisories in effect forMorris Sussex and Warren Counties through 8:45 p.m.

Because of the heavy rain, Tuesday evening’s Yankee versus Dodgers game has been rescheduled for tomorrow.

If there’s any good news, it’s that Wednesday is looking nice, with plenty of sun and highs in the upper 70s.
