Man stabbed in Times Square

A 45-year-old man was stabbed in Times Square  after a dispute with another man turned ugly, according to police.

The man was stabbed at West 47th Street and Seventh Avenue at about 2 p.m. Multiple reports say the two men involved knew each other.

The victim was wounded in the chest and was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

WABC reported that police captured the suspect, who was attempting to flee toward Eighth Avenue.
