MAHATTAN, NEW YORK (PIX11)- New details about what happened behind closed doors between Nicholas Brooks and his dead swimsuit designer girlfriend Sylvie Cachay.

Weeks before Cachay was found dead in a SoHo bathtub back in 2010, she had left her younger boyfriend a five-page list of things to do to clean up his act.

The list was entered into evidence on Friday during the first day of testimony in his murder trial.

The list included simple demands such as get a job, stop smoking pot, wake up before 10 a.m. and many other small changes.

Brooks claims Cachay accidentally drowned in the tub after taking too many prescription pills and falling asleep.

On the night of her death, Cachay’s body was found with bruises on her neck, abrasions in her mouth and blood dripping from her eyes.

Prosecutors say Brooks killed Cachay after she tried to break up with him.
