RUSSIA (PIX11) — Who knew that cats,  better known as the divas of the animal kingdom, could be so obedient.

According to the Russian prison service, officers recently caught a cat being used as a transporter to smuggle banned cell phones and charges into a prison camp.

It happened at Russia’s number one labor camp in the northern part of the country. That’s where a guard spotted the feline creeping near a fence on Friday. After it was captured, it was discovered that the cat had 2 cell phones, batteries and charges strapped to its back with duct tape.

Officials say, nothing like it has ever happened in the prison’s history.
