The New York Post is reporting that visitors to the 9/11 Memorial — which is supposed to be free — are being pressured to make donations of $5 or $10.

And when the 9/11 museum opens next year, there will be a mandatory $20 to $25 admission fee.

The tab for the museum and the memorial is roughly $700 million, $300 million of that coming from taxpayers.

9/11 victims’ families and first responders are horrified, saying this is nothing more than “a shakedown.”
