Last week Anthony Weiner announced he will run for mayor of New York City.

Weiner is making all the usual stops as he kicks off his campaign — shaking hands and kissing babies.

Sunday he attended services at Greater Springfield Memorial Church in Springfield Gardens, Queens.

From the looks of things, there are still a lot of people who support him.

Sunday on “Face the Nation,” Senator Charles Schumer had the opportunity to say whether he is one of them.

Last week governor Cuomo slammed Anthony Weiner’s campaign for Mayor, saying shame on us if Weiner is elected.

But then Cuomo’s office took it back — saying the Governor was just kidding.
