PHILADELPHIA (PIX11) – Philadelphia police are looking for the bumbling thug who shot up the Purple Orchid Gentlemen’s Club earlier this month.

Both the shooter, identified as Henry Pettigrew, 21, and his driver, identified only as a black male, 20-25 years old, are wanted by police in the May 11th incident.

After a dispute with management over the DJ refusing to play Pettigrew’s favorite song, according to WTXF, he ran to his car and came back with an AK-47 automatic rifle.

First firing at a car in the parking lot, Pettigrew can be seen on surveillance video slipping and face planting into the wet concrete.  Bruised but determined, he gets up and tries to push through a “pull” door.

Once inside the foyer, he slips again and falls hard while reaching for the door.  He finally manages to get into the club and fires indiscriminately, somehow only hitting one person, according to police.

Police describe Pettigrew as a black male, 5’11” tall, 180 lbs. with a thin beard.  The driver is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5’9”-5’10” tall, medium build, with a goatee, wearing a dark hooded jacket over a plaid button shirt, tan cargo shorts and tan boots.  They were last seen driving away in a light-colored sedan, possibly a Hyundai or a Mitsubishi.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Southwest Detective Division at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
