UPDATE: The Powerball Jackpot has jumped to $550 million dollars following a surge in sales

(PIX11) – There was no Powerball winner in last night’s drawing for the $360 million jackpot, which means the new jackpot will rise to a near record-breaking number.

The next drawing will take place Saturday night–for an estimated grand prize of $475 million. That’s the second largest Powerball jackpot ever and the third largest jackpot overall.

The largest jackpot in Powerball history was drawn on November 28, 2012. Two winning tickets for that $587.5 million jackpot were sold in Missouri and Arizona.

While no one won the jackpot, there were several $1 million dollar winners in the tri-state region. That means they matched all five numbers, but missed the powerball.

In case you missed them, the numbers are: 02-11-26-34-41; Powerball: 32.

You can buy tickets for Saturday’s drawing up until 9 p.m. that night.
