Missing NJ college student’s purse found on George Washington BridgeNEW YORK (PIX11) – The body of a missing New Jersey college student was found under the George Washington Bridge, authorities confirmed Thursday.

According to the NYPD, the body of 22-year-old Paige Aiello was found on the rocks underneath the bridge Wednesday. Authorities managed to determine her identity through dental records.

Aiello, a student at the College of New Jersey, was reported missing last month when she vanished after attending classes.

The student’s purse was later found on the pedestrian walkway of the George Washington Bridge, a full sixty miles away from where she was last seen.  The widespread nature of the mystery Aiello’s whereabouts had left her family perplexed.

“I don’t get it either,” her father Christopher Aiello told PIX11 News back in April. “It’s troubling to say the least.”

Despite a massive search in the Hudson River, Aiello’s body was never found until Wednesday.
