The party is over!

A New Jersey school that banned girls from wearing strapless dresses to an eighth grade dance has now cancelled the entire event.

It seems the principal of Readington Middle School got a threatening email.

The principal banned strapless dresses because she said they would distract boys.

Angry parents called it an abuse of power and demanded a change in the dress code.
