Early Wednesday morning, a MTA worker was struck and killed by an “E” train in Queens.

It happened as the train was pulling into the 46th street station.

58-year-old Louis Moore reportedly slipped and fell onto the tracks into the path of the oncoming train.

Moore was part of a crew repairing and inspecting signals.

The MTA is launching an intense investigation into the cause of the accident. It was the first transit worker death on the job in nearly three years.
