3 Doors Down member charged in fatal car crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (PIX11) — The bass player for the rock band 3 Doors Down is facing some serious charges after he was involved in a deadly car accident in Nashville.

Cops say Todd Harrell was speeding when he clipped a pickup truck.

That truck went out of control, slipped down an embankment and overturned.

The driver was killed.

Harrell admitted he drank hard cider and took prescription medication.

He has been charged with vehicular homicide.
