BOSTON (PIX11)- Boston police commissioner Ed Davis believes the marathon bombers had more attacks planned.

Commissioner Davis appeared on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’ confirming authorities found homemade explosives after the Thursday evening gun battle between the suspects and the police.

That face-off resulted in the death of Tamerlan Tsarnaev and started the manhunt for his brother, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Cops say the Tsarnaev brothers were throwing explosives at them out of the getaway car.

Davis also says investigators are not positive they have found all the explosives the suspects could have planted.

Investigators are tracing the weapons to determine how they were obtained by the suspect.
