Police are looking for the person who left a package designed to look like a bomb on the front porch of a Brooklyn home.

The suspect rang the doorbell of the Bay Ridge home around 12:30 a.m. early Wednesday. And when the homeowner opened the door they discovered a propane tank with a keypad and a wire protruding from it.

The bomb squad was called in to the scene on 68th Street, but the crew determined  it was nothing more than a cruel hoax.

The person of interest was caught on video, and authorities are seeking the public’s help.
