3 dead in Boston explosions; no suspect in custody as probe could morph into ‘terrorist investigation’

BM3 copyThe FBI in a news conference in Boston said the Boston Marathon explosions remain a criminal probe that could become a “terrorist investigation.”  Boston police revealed at least three people were killed, raising the death toll from two, where it had stood most of the day.

Authorities  also revealed that despite reports, there are no suspects in custody.

It was also revealed at the news conference that a task force consisting of local, state and federal authorities is being convened to investigate the explosions.
