FLORIDA (PIX11)- A police sergeant in port Canaveral, Florida has been fired over his choice of shooting targets.

The targets are said to resemble Trayvon Martin, the unarmed teenager shot to death last year by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman.

The targets show a silhouette of a person wearing a hoodie, holding a can of Arizona iced tea, and a bag of skittles in a pocket.

Investigators say Port Canaveral Police Sergeant Ron King was using them for shooting practice , and even tried to hand them out to fellow officers.

The attorney representing Martin’s family says the sergeant’s use of the target was “absolutely reprehensible.”
