FLINT, Mich.  (FOX17 ONLINE) —  After spending five years in a comatose state, a woman in Flint is making up for lost time.

On Thursday, she was escorted by a limo to go see Bob Seger at the Palace of Auburn Hills.  79-year-old Evie Branan spent five years in a semi-coma . Doctors say she would blankly stare ahead and not say anything.

Then, in May of 2011, Evie got up for the first time in years. While trying to go to the restroom, she slipped and bumped her head. That’s when she claims the memories started coming back.
