No bones about it, we think the late founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC these days) would have strong opinions about KFC’s plan to offer boneless chicken meals on its menu. The fast-food chain will introduce deep-fried boneless chicken on April 14.

KFC goes boneless

KFC will go boneless with its deep-fried chicken dish on April 14.

The move is the company’s response to the continuing popularity of chicken nuggets, chicken strips and other easy-to-eat bone-free fast-food options offered by its competitors.

The meals would certainly be easier to eat on the go, and the company allowed for the possibility that it might chuck the bones altogether if that’s what customers want.
