There was a horrible injury Sunday at the NCAA Tournament.

Kevin Ware of the Louisville Cardinals broke his leg on what looked like an innocent play. It was anything but.

Ware went to block a shot from Duke’s Tyler Thorton when he fell. His bone pierced the skin.

Teammates of Ware were visibly distraught; crying and shaking on the court.

Reports show he broke the bone in two places and it will take a year to recover. He is expected to be in surgery Sunday night.
