EAST FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN (PIX11)– A Lincoln car smashed into the scaffolding on Utica Avenue and injured 12 people on Saturday.

As of Sunday morning, the 12 are listed in stable condition, except for a toddler who is unconscious and may not wake up.

Police say a 48-year-old woman was driving her Lincoln around 7 p.m. Saturday night when she accidentally hit the gas peddle instead of the breaks, swerved away from traffic, and slammed into a crowd of people on the sidewalk.
