BED-STY BROOKLYN (PIX11)-  A weird, wild scene outside a police station ends with the suspect shooting himself in the face. It happened outside the 81st precinct in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon.

The driver, 33-year-old Anthony Alexander, was under investigation for domestic violence.

Alexander’s girlfriend had called the police warning them that he was on his way.

When he arrived he tried to slam his black Lexus into the station. Officers say they had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit.

He plowed through at a high rate of speed and crashed in front of the station.

Then Alexander pulled out a gun and shot himself in face.

He is in critical condition at Kings County Hospital.

Officers found two guns in the car.
