A baby was left alone on a train platform in bizarre incident in Philadelphia.

Police say the baby’s mother and grandmother were using the same punch pass in an attempt to dodge subway fare.

During the hand-off, the two women apparently forgot about the baby. A surveillance camera captured the scene.

A cashier noticed the little girl was alone and called police.

Officers who contacted the mother and grandmother say the two were frantic about having left the baby behind.

Because of that, police decided not to charge them with fare evasion.
