Pedro Quezada did his best to remain anonymous, reportedly running away from photographers. But, there is no anonymity when you’ve just won a $338 million Powerball lottery jackpot.
When asked what he wants to do with the money, Quezada said, “I don’t know. I have to think about it. My mind is not clear yet.”
The 44-year-old native of the Dominican Republic — who has lived in Passaic, N.J. for the past 26 years — has a lot of planning to do.
Quezada says he has played the lotto two to three times a week, and bought his winning ticket at liquor store in Passaic where he has also operated a bodega for the last six years.
That life involved long days and a lot of hard work. Now that his family is freshly flushed with cash, that life is also in the rear-view mirror.AlertMe
