Two passengers are facing charges after making fake bomb threats on Sunday at Newark Liberty International Airport.

In the first incident, an angry man lashed out after hearing there were no more seats left on his connecting flight, even though his bag was already loaded on the plane.  That’s when airline officials say he claimed the bag had a bomb in it.

Then a second man at another checkpoint said there was a bomb in his shoe. It’s not known why he lied about a shoe bomb.
