INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA (PIX11)– Hundreds of animals had to be removed from an Indianapolis pet store last week after a shocking inspection.

Last Thursday animal care and control walked in to The Fish Bowl Pet Shop and discovered a horror shop.

They found hundreds of dead animals.

That’s not all.

Most of the live animals were standing in and eating their own feces.

Owner Bill Houston was given two days to clean it up, but it was too big a job.

All of the animals were removed for nearly 600 violations.

The Fish Bowl Pet Shop was in business for 45 years.
