Soda ban stirs up confusion behind the coffee counter

We’ve known for months that come next Tuesday, jumbo-sized sodas will become a thing of the past for New Yorkers.

But what you may not know is that the ban will impact your morning coffee order.

The rules are open to interpretation.

If you like a super sweet cup of joe, you’ll need to add your own sugar at McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Starbucks says they’ll still add your sugar for you if you ask.

Drinks like lattes won’t be impacted because they contain a lot of milk, which is considered to be nutritious.

But Starbucks says they’re not sure how they’re famous frappuccino will be impacted.
