An SUV slammed into more than a dozen parked cars Thursday morning in Harlem.

It happened on East 136th Street and 5th Avenue.

The vehicle then jumped the sidewalk and drove down into the courtyard of the Lincoln Housing Complex.

It then hit a tree. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

Wow, this article has all the details wrong. I really don't care about this particular story, but what else are you completely botching?

In case you want to know what really happened – this even took place under my bedroom window, so I can fill you in:

7 cars (not a dozen) hit, the SUV was traveling southbound on 5th and turned too wide onto 135th (not 136th) st and took out a bus shelter on the south side before over correcting to wipe out cars on the north side. Luckily no one was hurt, though (the only detail Pix11 got right).

Thanks for setting the facts straight. My car was the red mini Cooper parked by the security booth. 8000.00 in damages!

It is a very much sad news that a SUV slammed into many parked cars. As the car crashed into the situation it was very much difficult to handle the situation. The vehicle jumped sidewards and then slowly climbed into the situation that in an uncontrolled manner. But fortunately nobody was hurt.
