(PIX11) The wrestling community lost a legend… William Moody a.k.a Paul Bearer, one of the most memorable wrestling managers in WWE history past away yesterday.

Although the cause of death has not confirmed, TMZ has reported that Moody suffered from morbid obesity and gallbladder issues.

Paul Bearer debuted with the WWE in 1991, managing The Undertaker, where he guided “The Deadman” to the WWE title, before turning on him to manage his brother Kane.

Before he entered the world of professional wrestling, Moody was a real life funeral director, which was the inspiration for the character every child was afraid of in the early 90’s.
