A business in Manhattan is still trying to recover from the impact of Hurricane Sandy.

The basement production facility of Erickson Beamon on 11th Avenue at 26th Street was filled with water. The company designs and produces jewelry at the Terminal Warehouse building.

Beside fighting the red tape from the government and processing small-business loans, the company’s long-time phone number does not work. The wiring was damaged by the water and company representatives say the current provider needs up to 4 months to for repairs.

They are trying to switch to another service but have been unable to complete the process.

The current provider tells PIX11 News it is researching the issues and will be in contact.
